If any of you have been following this tragic story , it was confirmed that the baby of the woman is in fact Laci Peterson and the infant son is hers!!!

It is so tragic and I hope the monster who did this burns in hell! It is so sad...scary that there are monsters walking around that look just like you and me. Her family is in my prayers.

I guess she is his wife, I guess that is why it was not easy for him to leave. Hey killing her is easier I have already made up my mind. I do not need a confession or a coroner

It is so difficult for me to believe that her husband killed her and the unborn baby. I think why it is so difficult for me is because I find the crime so unfathomable - how could anyone do that !!!!!!

this is sooo sad. they have to use dna testing to determine who the body is because the head was cut off. Man , that just reeks! I watch enough Sopranos to know you do that so you cannot ID the body....

Im sending a quick prayer ...that this woman and baby did not suffer

The as*hole husband definately did it!!! He wouldn't even let the investigators search his home and made them get a warrant when she first disappeared! I feel bad for her family because it will take weeks before they can confirm the DNA and really know for sure that it is her and her baby!

OMG. I knew in my heart that it was her when the found the baby and the female body. I also believe that its the husband. My prayers goes out to her family.

It's a sad day in the world to think of how a husband could do this to his pregnant wife!!

from CNN Police have taken into custody the husband of missing pregnant woman Laci Peterson on Friday, sources tell CNN. Scott Peterson was arrested in San Diego by Modesto, California, police. The sources would not say what charges were filed in the case.

This is like something right out of a horror movie. I don't think anyone else has a motive to do something like this, other than her husband, that's why I think he did it.
