Lactose-free and nut-free cakes

Hi,

Does anyone know of bakeries that cater to lactose intolerant (me) and nut allergy (fiance) people? I called several places that can make one thats nut-free but not lactose-free..

i'm considering getting the top 2 tiers made lactose-free and the rest normal, but we havent been able to find anyone that can actually do this.. i dont really want to take any risks on our wedding night

We'd prefer not to bake our own but might be forced to :P

Any advice on this one would be extremely appreciated. TIA for your help.

I don't know the name of a bakery offhand however a kosher bakery would be a good bet for a lactose free cake. It would be parve, dairy free.

I agree with the kosher cakes. They are usually made with no dairy.

I'm HIGHLY lactose intolerant too and am using a vegan bakery in the city for my cake. Finding a bakery to make me a dairy free cake has been a huge challenge and I have yet to find one on LI! Feel free to FM me if you'd like more details.
