some people love and hate it.

I love the idea but you're going to get lots of people that go away.

i mean hello they're off on Monday.

I would leave it.
Our wedding is the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. We are going to send out save the dates very early ( a year and 3 months) before the date to make sure all of our guests know when our wedding is.

We're getting married on a Sunday and it's also Veteran's Day.

It's our wedding and i don't care what people think.

Leave it! Especially if the date is important to you and the FH...trust me, through the wedding process, you will soon understand (if you haven't already) that you cannot please everyone, so just make sure it is what you and FH want.
