Ask your travel agent to check on the price for your cruise again. My travel agent just emailed me and told me that our price went down $1,000!!! That is CERTAINLY the best news I've gotten all year!!

I went to check how much balance we had left and the price of mine definitely went down as well! And I think they're doign away with the fuel surcharge too.

Wow thats great! I know they did away with the fuel sc so if they don't implement it again its a shipboard credit.. but i am going to call about the price.. that would be sooooo great!

yes. they frequently go down and the cruise line always makes the price adjustment for you ... Which cruise are you taking? We are on RCC

WOW! That certainly is awesome news! I don't have a HM cruise.. but I know i'd be completely extatic if my HM went down $1000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even just $500 would make me thrilled!

Good question..mine is paid in full WITH A fuel surcharge... should I call RCC? WIll they crdit the fuel or give us a ship credit???

yes they should give it back to you because you can cancel it and rebook it at the lower rate... so it benefits them to refund you the difference

we are also going on a carnival carribean cruise for 10 days for our HM! we have not yet decided what actual cruise ship with carnival we are yet taking or even to what islands! so we have not booked it yet! :) but we know we are for sure doing this because we are cruise people!!!!!!! :) my favorite are cruises, hehe! :)
by the way.. to what islands are you going and what cruise ship are you going in if you dont mind me asking?? ;)

you get the fuel charge credited back, but as an on board credit(OBC),not cash. It's still great..cuz u can use that money for daily gratuities, drinks,or a shore excursion.. fh and i got back 240$.
Unfortunately, if the fare goes down, and you are paid in full..you're out of luck with getting THAT money refunded....BUT, you can try calling the cruise line to see if they can bump u to a better room, or even a category.

I only cruise with Norwegian. I would try Royal, if the price if right..but usually norwegian(ncl) is cheaper..and we love the freestyle

FH and I are looking to take NCL from Barcelona to Italy...how are NCL onboard rooms? WE dont need to pay top $$ for the view since we will mostly be doing excursions and will only be sleeping and showering in the room..
