Ladies doing Pre-Cana- Help needed!

So, long story short, FH and I were originally scheduled to participate in the 1 day precana session on April 26 at our church. Well two weeks ago we realized that FH would be away on business that weekend so we called the church to reschedule it. I finally received a phone call today from the precana lady in charge telling me that the next available all-day session is September 27 (after our wedding ) Or we could meet a couple of times a week on Sundays in May. The problem is that FH is going to be gone almost every other weekend in the summer for his job. So now I have to find a new parish that has a session that would work for us.

Do any of you ladies who are getting married in the Catholic church know your parishes precana schedules? I am looking for weekday evenings or maybe a all day session relatively soon. Thanks in advance girls and sorry for rambling on.

St Brigids in Westbury on Post Ave. We did Week nights.
Good luck.. and its a BEAUTIFUL CHURCH!!!

You can try St. Raymond's in East Rockaway (not sure where you are located).

I know there next session starts in a few weeks so I don't know if it is full or not, but you do it for 6 weeks on either a Monday or Tuesday night. Usually from 7:30 - 9:30.

Thanks girls. Im located in western Suffolk, so I think the Rockaway church would be a bit of a hike. But thank you for your help!

St brigids would be ideal location.. right down Jericho Turnpike.. since you are a JT Bride.

Yes it is. I did it from all the way out East and it is not fun but it is the church we are getting married in so we did it anyway!

St. Martin's in Bethpage. We just started last night, but the rest is all weeknights.

Also, call the diocese of RVC. My deacon said they have weekend pre cana that you can finish in one weekend.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I don't feel so frantic now, lol.

I am going to give all of these churches a call and see what is available as well as call the diocese.
