I reallyyy wanted to get this signature platter and its soo beautiful for our engagement party in 10 days... but It has a monogram on it and the date of our wedding... is that too much of a wedding thing to have ? not really for an engagement party?? I need opinions!!

What if I put our monogram and then underneath I put 'our engagement party' and the date of the party instead of our wedding date?

I wanted to do wedding 'date' stuff for the eparty but thought maybe it was a little too much. UNLESS you put bla bla your wedding date & 'save the date' or we did like napkins and little things that say engagement party with the eparty date

I think the signature plate is a great idea! I wish I wouldda thought of that!!!!
I think you can definately do the monogram but I dont know about the wedding date.. maybe do the monogram with 'engagment party' the date you got engaged and the date of the wedding to make it less wedding??

Definitely do the signature platter, minus the wedding date. The e-party is a separate occasion and deserves it's own celebration, not to be shared with the wedding. There will be so many things later that will have the wedding date!

Thanks girls! What do you think abut the monogram though? Is that ok? So I was thinking monogram and the date of our engagement party and under our engagement party either our names or it saying 'our engagement party' which one?!? Sorry so many questions I just dont know what to doo!!!
