ladies having the ceremony at the reception hall

I am confused, some ladies have mentioned that they are getting married at the hall but no rehearsal. A photgrapher mentioned something about that too. I am a little nervous about that, not having a rehearsal a a few days before. Anyone know whether or not this may be something true of all halls or may be it something that each halls handles indvidually.

My best friend got married at the fox hollow and we had a rehearsal about 20-30 minutes before the wedding, so she wasnt there but the rest of the wedding party was. I am getting married at a hotel so they are letting me have a rehearsal the day before but possibly in a different room if that room is being used.
Call your hall and ask what their policy is. If they dont have a wedding the day before you may be able to rehearse or perhaps they will let you rehearse early the day before.

i am going to call thanks, my sister got married at the hall and there was rehearsal thurs before. I dont like 20-30 minutes before at all and i hearing that more and more. thanks for you help

Call your hall and find out. We got married at the Vanderbilt and originally we were told that we couldn't have a rehearsal the day before the wedding, but that we could do a run through 20 minutes before the wedding. Fast forward to one month before the wedding and we found out that we could have done a rehearsal the day before--we opted not to because our rehearsal dinner was being held in NYC. A run through was done for everyone at the site on the day of the wedding and everything ran smoothly.

This is what we are going to be doing.

Our hall will allow us to do a rehearsal before the wedding, but we cannot do a rehearsal when another wedding is going on. We could do one during the week, however, we have many OOT wedding party members. This works better for us.

Yeah, I'm doing a rehersal 20-30 min before too.. I'll still probally have a 'rehersal' dinner, the night before, but more of just a dinner minus the rehersing.

MY friend couldn't do a rehearsal at her site but we all rehearsed right before the rehearsal dinner... the room had a small dance floor. I know it's not the same (she invited the minister to the dinner) but at least you can go through the order.

we're having the ceremony at the hall and we are having a rehearsal - our minister required it cause our ceremony is a bit complex
i think each hall handles it differently - if that is what you are thinking about doing be sure to ask beforehand

we didn't have a rehersal- everyone got their marching orders about 10 minutes before the ceremony- it worked out perfectly!

I did one like 10 min before ceremony, was very disorganized, no one knew what the hell was goin on... i think it should be at least a day before but whaddaya gonna do???
