I went to the church were I'm getting married to go over some music selections, my parents and future mother in law came along. The music director told my future mother in law that she is the first women to set foot on the white carpet, know I dont know if that makes any sence I thought my mother should be first. And my future mother in law was so happy while my mother was very upset what do I do ?

i dont think either should be walking on the white runner - they should roll it out just before you come in

i think that is just the way it goes. usually FMIL walks first and then the brides mom walks right before the bridal party. it is better that way b/c more people are paying attention closer to the time the bride is coming up. JMO.
