Ok...so originally I wasn't planning on wearing a viel or head piece at all...but after much conversation witht he girls at my store they told me to think about the way my pictures will look from the front...I will look like i have my hair pulled back normally and then will be wearing a fancy gown. It made sense I think. But now, Im not sure HOW to wear my hair so that I can incorporate a veil/thin headpiece/headband sort of thing! My dress is in my album and and I will post the hairstyle that I wanted originally.I know I want the hair in the back to be a little less..something a bit tighter...please help !

i love the first one and was thinking of doing that. however, i am doing my hair very similar to your original look. and i have a headpiece and a veil. think of your hair as is in those photos. they put the thin headpiece in, and the part is not so distinct. that is really the only difference. they work the part with the headpiece so it doesn't look funny. then the veil can go in the top of the bun. it cover the beautiful hair do for a bit, but i am taking my veil off after the church and some formal pictures. it just pulls out. i hope that helps and doesn't confuse you. i need to go for a trial with my headpiece, asap.

I am thinking of doing an up-do that falls low in the back as well and the veil will just sit over it...I am going to get a hair comb too from thomas knoell..... I plan on taking my veil off after the church and pics!

I think the ladies were right ... it just looks pulled back ... you should out something in the front and then you can have the hair stylist weave or pin in some diamonds or pearls in the back ... i think that would look awesome!

But isn't that the purpose of the flower? To make it look a little fancier? What happened to the spray thing you wanted to get? That would work.

Lauren... Have you considered a kind of mantilla? They can lay further back from your head and in pictures can frame your face. I would'nt worry too much about it. My hair is going to be like yours, but braided to the way right side, and in a pony... Thats why I'm sticking to the mantilla.
Let me look for some pictures though, You know how much i love love love ur hair though!

You could get a pretty jeweled headband or something with pearls maybe or do something like the first photo. Or you could have them do up the front a little more like the second photo.
I think if you do the veil over the bun it will work beautifully. I love the flower, I would do some statement earrings and your set! stylemepretty.com and projectwedding.com have good hair style pics. Check them out!

Are you still going with the flower in your hair? I mean you can still see it on the side so that would make it look different than your every day hair pulled back look.
If you wanted to add a veil, you could always stick it underneath the curls in the back.

I think that hair style is so pretty. maybe if you had a veil under the curls. I also love the flower

I think a mantilla style veil would look nice with this hairstyle and maybe lose the flower, or keep the flower, and have a very simple veil pinned underneath your hair like in the picture a few posts above. That would look really pretty.
