Ladies - Help this bride out!!!

MY fh's cousin just got engaged... they have started looking for halls. For some reason instead of going out and buying the sites and serivces magazine - they are just visiting halls they have been to already (?) - I guess so they know the food is good?? - anyway she visted North ritz club and loved it but its too small. As of now they have about 300 but they say they will have many more when the list is done.
They went to russo's but like I have said everyone in fh's family gets married there.. and it was also a little too expensive ( they want the charge them the same price for a sunday in November as in june?!?!?)
So ladies help me out! The church will be in astoria and they dont want anything REALLY far from there. They love russos and north ritz. Price isnt a huge deal.. as long as its not $200 a plate. and it has to hold ALOT of people!!

eta - I am already going to tell them to check out Villa lombardis -- does anyone know how far it is from queens? TIA

She dosent really make sense b/c she says she wants something not far from the church... but shes going this weekend to look at a hall in NJ that their other cousin had the reception last year. His family is so strange like that.... they get married at the same places over and over and over and over. Im like be original!!!

What about a large hotel like the Garden City Hotel or a place in Manhattan.

Bridgewaters down on Fulton is amazing & I went to a wedding that was at their max - 400 people. www.theglaziergroup.com

Cipriana at 200 5th Ave is a little better priced & they hold up to 400 in the grand ball room. www.cipriani.com

There's a bunch more but they're all in Manhattan. Maybe a place like Jehrico Terrace would be large enough or Leonards?

It takes us about 45 min. We live in Whitestone. We are going there tomorrow . I'll let you know how long it takes us.

Milleridge Cottage can hold up to 400 I believe.

Fh's aunt said she is invited to a wedding with 700 people! I asked her where it is , but she didn't know. (It's not till October.) It might be NJ.

I'm sure there's gotta be big places in Queens.

You should tell them to definitely try Leonards! Or maybe Crest Hollow?

Try the Cresthollow which is not too far from the North Ritz Club and Leonards in Great Neck.
