Ladies, I am totally and completely stuck on groom's gift.
Gary doesn't like sports or drinking or most stuff that guys like. I was going to invest in a nice Gucci watch, but I cannot afford the $1200 and he stated he doesn't want another watch.
He's a cheap ******* (stated lovingly) who really loves Old Navy, Target, the Gap clearance section, and anything at the 99 cents or less stores. *this is just info for background.*
I am at a total loss. I know what he is getting me for my wedding gift (it's a custom made necklace).
I want to spend a maximum of $500 on his gift.
Please help!

Is there something he needs? When we got engaged, I gave FH a new car stereo system. Would something like that work?

What about cuff links that he can wear on the wedding day?

This is what you have to do:
Get a big white ribbon with the frilliest bow and wrap it around yourself! Tada! Best gift you could give the guy...oh have some candy in your pocket too!

Your too much!!!!
I think you mentioned going to hawaii or something. How about arranging something really special like a candlelight dinner in your room or a suprise helicopter tour (just the two of you) or a massage for two. Something he wouldnt expect, but would enjoy

Ang: GREAT IDEA. One question -- I lov to give gifts that are indulgent; things that people would never treat themselves to but always love like a massage or a facial. Would he enjoy something like golf lessons, or a trip to batting practice, or tickets to a METS game? Something like that?

No to all of the above. This is great, lets just keep eliminating stuff that I CAN'T get him. LOL!

Is he a music fan? Of any paticular band?

Is there a musical instrument he wants to learn to play?

No and no.
But I just got an idea... He loves to recline on our current sofa, but its old and we will be buying a new one soon. So I was thinking about buying him a Lazyboy recliner. What do you think?

PERFECT! And to incorprate Ang's idea...you might ribbon up and be seated in it when he receives the present/

ok, now where can I buy one. I figure I can order it and have it delivered while we are on our honeymoon. this way, when we get home, he will see it, all tied in a ribbon.

Well I just went to the Laxyboy website and picked out a few models I am interested in. so I called the closest showroom near me (150 Sunrise highway) and she gave me a price on one. They are totally affordable. Yay! I am so happy. I know what I am getting Gary now. Yippeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
