Im trying to plan a weekend getaway with FH. I dont want to go too far or spend too much money. Any suggestions?

FH and i just booked a trip to Boston for the fourth of July weekend.......we used hotwire and got a 4star hotel in Cambridge right on the charles River for 110 a night. It was the royal Sonesta Boston. We also looked into a weekend in April (8/9) and it was 65 bucks or so for a 3.5 star hotel. Also, the Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge is awesome we stayed there in november. They have what they call 'hot dates' and they are like 120 or so a night. The place is great and has a free wine hour everynight. The only thing is I dont think they post the hot dates until the first of the month for that month.

I love Pennsylvania...
Hershey is always fun.... lots of shopping, some nice restaurants, and you could spend a whole day at the park. Depending on when you go, I would say it's cheap right now, but probably better in the spring/summer

Poconos- you can stay at the new hotel that opened up= Wolf lodge- has an indoor waterpark and I hear its awesome

Come to the Poconos! There is a brand new resort called Great Wolf Lodge and they have an indoor water park!!! Dunno how expensive it is though, you have to call them and see XOXOXO Kitty

Southampton inn has some good prices during the winter and there are some nice wineries out there....
