thats the best way to do it... I was engaged on 12/24/04- all the planning with the exception of favors, programs, menu ( little things) was done by 6/05. we actually had the carlyle booked for the longest time- it was the 1st thing we booked..its actually a good thing cause you get this years prices.. my RH actually charges more now for the vinnese hour. ( $ 15 pp extra) so I dont have to pay that now..

Yeah we are trying to get as much done early so that we dont have to worry about it. Also we dont want to be stuck paying for all the 'little' things that end up costing a fortune after we are married. we figure if we can get stuff ordered and booked early we can pay them off and not have to worry about being in debt later.

we will be living in my parents house- their 1st level.. Its nice cause we have 2 BR, 1Bathoom, Kitchen, LR, DR pantry and the best part * I have a walk in closet*

We are saving to have a house built.. Almost there. Hoping to begin Early next year!

We both live in Queens now and although it would be ideal for us to find a house in Bayside, Whitestone... the houses aroung here are untoucvhable.. like 700k.. thats gonna be tough. Our price range is mid 5s for we decided to look for a house on the Island. Plainview, Hicksville, East Meadow... We've seen a few things already but nothing that we just had to have.. We're working on it.

Yeah I know what your saying... I just walk in to some houses and if I dont have that feeling I want to walk right out.. Thats why were going the building route

I have though about doing the building route but we are leaving that for later on in life.. Now we dont have the time to spend doing that and we want to have a house of our own right after we get married.
What kind of work do you do?

I run a division of the family business. we make custom aluminum doors and storefronts & sell wholesale material. I am in charge of the custom orders divisions so every questin in here comes through me at least once..Its very stressful and a lot of work but i love it.
My FH is an HVAC Project Manager. He runs jobs in buildings where theya re doing new installations or repairs of cooling and heating units... They only do very large jobs like NYU and Bloombers buildings...He has a lot or responsiblities but he loves it.

FH and I just bought a house in West Babylon - I LOVE that area! I can't wait to live there (I am waiting until we get married to actually move into the house).

What color are your girls dresses? How many BM's and GM are you having?

My Fh and I are going to wait until we get married to move into whatever house we buy too. I think it will jst add some excitment to everything...
my dresses are a color called sterling, it is an irridesant silver and we are having 8 adult couples 1 jr couple 2 flower girla dna ring boy!! big wedding party but its going to be tons of fun.
