Ladies... I've changed my name and it's wierd!!!!

Some of the posts this week have got me thinking... my screenname is fluckin' stupid!!!! I have put myself in harms way and I don't like it!
So, I contacted Ron and he saved the day!!!

This is my new name... formally KimAMalone, now AMGBride2008. Learn it, Live it, Love it!

I've never googled my name, but hello, my screenname was my first name, middle initial, and last name. I'm a reatard

Not to get your paranoid Kim (people probably think we're a bunch of crazies on this board! ) but even thought I changed my name all my posts still come up on google!

I guess even if you change your name it still stays in the profile...I contacted the someone at the website to see what i can do and this is their response:

Unfortunately google has these spyders that come on sites like this and pick up information. So once they have the information we have no control of it. You user name is changed on this site and google will still have info on your old name. It won't matter if we remove your profile.

Those Google spyders come in handy sometimes though... when I was looking for RHs, I'd google the name of the RH and come across the websites of people who'd had their weddings there. Sometimes, when you click on the link, the site isn't there anymore (maybe after a year or two people stop paying for their wedding website and it goes down), but then you click on the handy 'Cached' button, and voila! The old website is recovered! Great for stalkers like me who spend endless hours looking at other people's personal wedding photos to get ideas.

yeah i considered taking the name down too, but Dan Buckley cis such a popular name that i don't really care all that much....I think our 08ers have our heads together...its the BHB board that's gone crazy...the claws have come out!!!!

Bonnie, it's me! I miss my old name!!!
But, we'll get used to this one.... the way I look at it, I had my other name for about 5 months, by the time I get married, I'll have had this name way longer! We'll get used to it.... right?
