Hi Everyone, I'm having my bridesmaids over for lunch on Saturday and I don't know what to make. Any suggestions? There is going to be 5 girls and 2 babies.

What about an assortment of finger foods/appetiziers? Honestly, those are my favorite things ever and it gives people a chance to talk and hang out without it being TOO formal. You can also have a big selection...pigs in a blanket, spanakopita, cheese puffs, dips, chips.

i like the idea of apps and finger foods- those are my favorites too! you could do a fruit tray, little cut up sandwiches/wraps, veggies and dips, cheese and crackers, puff pastries, hot dips and cold dips like bruschetta, veggie dip in a bread bowl, chili dip, etc etc mmmmm this is making me hungry...

For gatherings of women, I like to do light foods (nice salads, finger foods, antipasti - like others have already said) but then go all out on the dessert!

mini hotdogs are always a hit. cheese and crackers, veggie platter, ...I agree, things to pick on. You can also order a hero...now i'm gettng hungry at 10:40 - GREAT!

you could also go to bj's and get the finger sandwiches from the deli, mini-croissants, veggie platter, pizzelle, nutella, and jam and make it a little 'tea party'
