Ladies Married already...

Do any of you feel sad that you won't be able to see or be in contact with any of your vendors? I know this sounds so silly but we really adored all of our vendors and they were such an important part of our wedding that I am sad to not be in contact with them. I feel like I might keep in touch with a coupleof them but for the most part we will probably never see any of them ever again...am I the only one who feels sad about this? lol

Well, you'll definitely see the photographers again because how else will we get physical proofs/albums?

And what about birthday cakes? You can get it from the place where you got your cake!!!!

Say you, DH, and a whole bunch of friends decide to have fun in Atlantic City one night. . .you can rent a limo!!!!

Oh, yeah, and don't forget--we can hint to our retiring colleagues (hopefully there will be MORE this coming school year) that they could book a retirement party at our RHs?

The possibilities are endless!!!!!!!!

I am good friends with one of the photographers on my team. The other photographer was very helpful to me post-wedding with choosing prints, and I can always email him, but haven't really kept in touch.

and I am very friendly with the people at the photography studio. They say they consider me family which I thought was sweet.

My other vendors, I really don't keep in touch with.

not married yet, but I know walking away from lands end will be the hardest part. luckily they have wed night lobster nights, if we can ever afford to go.

I can totally relate! All of our vendors were so great and sending a thank you note was pretty much the last contact we've had with a few of them. It's a little sad b/c they're such great people! I've been sending my engaged friends their way.

I totally would feel sad if I wasn't still in touch with them!

I've corresponded and spoken with my DOC, DJ, Makeup, Limo (used them for HM), RH, and photo. HAIR I use regularly, floral & officiant - haven't spoken to. CAKE - will use bakery for next cake needed as he caters to DH's food allergy. Am I forgetting anyone?
I'm so happy with my vendors and they were all really cool people that I hope I will be in touch with for a very long time.

yes. . a little. . luckily my florist is a friend of mine. . the band seriously I wish I could be friends with every one of them. . they are amazing and I really didn't even talk to them. . and I did LOVE my hair/make up person sachiko so much and would use here again for sure. . I loved my cake person too but can't imagine I would ever use her again unless I had a huge event bc I would just bake. but it is funny bc it's such a big event in our lives but for them they deal with brides ALL the time. . so it's like once in a lifetime vs once a week ~

I guess a little. I just keep promoting their services anytime someone asks for a recommendation.
