Ladies, my RH made some improvements!!!

I am so excited!!! I went to measure our tables at our RH for the runners I want to use and the BM took us to our room (Saturnia).

They added the draping to the ceiling!!! They had done this to their largest room (DaVinci) and I thought it was so pretty and classy, and now that they've done it to Saturnia, it's GREAT! Our ceiling used to be blue like a lit up night sky and they used a sheer fabric to drape it so you can still see the blue through it. Love it! There's more draping all throughout the ceiling (the other fabrics are opaque).






They also changed the curtains upstairs. Now that they've changed them, I realized that I didn't really like the other ones! The room had a dark feeling to it and now it looks brighter and the Promenade Room looks MUCH improved with the draped ceilings and new curtains.




I also got to see a table fully set up and our dais table setup (hadn't seen it in our room before). I am so thrilled with our room. I really liked it before, but now I LOVE it!!! I can't wait to have my reception there in less than 7 months!!!!

You know, I guess since Saturnia is the 'small' room, its easier for them to make changes here first. The BM that took us around today was Brian (my BM, Jack, is on vacation until April) and Brian is having his own wedding reception in the Normandy room in June... Even HE couldn't get the new chairs for his reception since the other two rooms are booked already for the night!

So yeah, they haven't done anything to Normandy yet. So the blue chairs are still there

I totally didn't expect to see anything new so I was really thrilled to see this today!!!

But hey, you have the AWESOME rising floor/entrance in Normandy!

Seriously, I am so jealous of the rising floor that YOU have in Normandy!!! That is like the coolest thing! I'm so happy we didn't know about that when we booked Saturnia b/c I would have been tempted to guarantee more people (which we won't have!) just to get that room!

Hey you never know - maybe they'll do the draping in Normandy before your September wedding!!!

As for Jack, I can't be sure. Brian said that he was on like a month long sabbatical of some sort and would be back some time in April. I think there shouldn't be an issue for that May bride.

But still, even if he's not back, the other BM's there are all so nice and helpful. I always seem to call when Jack is out or busy, so I've spoken to a couple of the guys.

Yeah I figured I wouldnt need to speak to Jack anyway. I made sure all my little things he promised are written down in HIS copy of my contract.

i hear u on that one!! i am having my wedding in the normandy as well;)

I was at CB for a wedding on 2/24 and the place was beautiful. I loved the room and everything else.
