Ladies Please pray for my family

This afternoon my mom and my aunt came to my job to inform me that my grandma passed away. This is truly saddening for me, b/c my g-ma raised me until I was 15 yrs old. She did not attend my wedding b/c she was afraid to fly. So I was planning on going to Jamaica on Christmas eve to spend Christmas with her. She told me she could not wait for me to come so that we could watch the video together. Our videographer was being so wonderful rushing the completion of our video for me to get it in time for me to be able to have it with me to share with her. My G-ma was a wonderful woman. She will be missed by one and all. I just had to share with you all b/c it makes me feel better to write. We will be flying home to Jamaica to bury her. Please keep us in your prayers. Thanks all for reading.

This trip was supposed to be a joyous occasion and now it has turned into one of sorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your Grandmother sounds like a beautiful, wonderful woman. I hope you find comfort in the fact that she is smiling down on you and your new husband and will always be a part of you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. These are just words on a computer screen...but I hope you can sense the heartfelt feelings behind them.

Your grandmother must have been quite a lady...she raised a beautiful woman...you! The compassion, honesty and wonderful sense of humor you bring to us all here are a living tribute to her.

Shamma, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my grandmother in March. We lived in the same house my whole life...It is so hard to face the reality. The only thing I have to say is give your as much time to grief as you need...time heals everything. You and your family are in my prayers. lots of hugs for you
