Ladies recommend your 'long wearing' lipcolor

I am not a big lipstick person. The most I wear is chapstick or lip gloss. Can anyone recommend a good brand and color they love!!!!

I know that Cover Girl has their OUTLAST collection and Revlon had COLORSTAY, does anyone like those???

I just bought the Cover Girl one yesterday and loved it. It really stayed on through a night of dinner and drinking.

I use the Revlon Colorstay cause I will NEVER reapply. I've tried a whole bunch, but that seems to be the best for me. They have tons of colors.

Yes I wonder that too about putting the gloss on top. I hate when my lips feel dry and wonder if those long stays will make lips feel gross

The Covergirl Outlast came with a gloss that you can reply. I really liked it.

For a wedding I went to a few years ago, I wore the Cover Girl outlast and it was pretty good, but I'm usually a gloss girl. For FH's brother's wedding, I wore a gloss from Sephora (their brand) that I love since it stays and it was easy for me to reapply without a mirror. I'm getting all my makeup for the day of from Sephora anyway so I will pick out a nice gloss. I also tried Stila lip gloss and I loved that too. Good luck!

I've used both the Revlon and the Covergirl brands. I think the Revlon one is good and does really last. And the Covergirl one does too. But if you're worried about your lips feeling dry, and wanting to use gloss, then I recommend the Covergirl one because it comes with a clear chapstick type thing to put over the color. So you can keep using that throughout the night to keep your lips moist.

Or just have your guests clink the glasses a lot so your FH can keep your lips moist, haha.

Hi,

I like the Covergirl Outlast, but Maybelline has a lipstick version too and a Superstay Gloss which is amazing. I posted a rave on it a while back. I love the colors and the gloss is great as you can reapply as needed to keep shiny and the gloss does not take the color off. The best way is to try it and see what colors you like. I know CVS and Rite Aid will take it back for any reason if you don't like it.

Remember to exfoliate your lips Really well beforehand and that there is no trace of oil from your lip balm before you apply, otherwise it will flake or apply unevenly. You can brush your lips with a toothbrush the night before and put on a heavy moisturizing balm like vaseline. My fave lipbalms lately are the Bigelow peppermint lip tint from Bath and Body Works or Lypsyl from the drugstore.

Also, be careful what you eat, stay away from fried food and anything with oil as it will take it off and you'll have to reapply.

My fiance hates getting lipstick on him, and we'll be doing a lot of kissing, so this is the best option for us.

Now even with being careful, you may still need to reapply, so maybe carry a small bottle of remover with you, so you can take it off and redo it again perfectly.

It sounds like a lot, but it's really worth it not to have smeared lipstick all over both of you!
