is it what you expected?

I expected about 200 and ended up with 164. I honestly had ALOT more no's than i ever expected. Guess people just dont like us

We invited 173 people and we ended up with 120. Most of the no's were on DH's side, and mostly extended family or his parents' friends that we barely knew anyway. So we didn't really mind too much!

We are almost at our final count...we didn't make our mininum even after FH makes some calls tomorrow night and they tell us they are coming. We will be at 100 and we guaranteed 125- we had 30% respond no.

It's not what we expected- didn't expect so many nos.....we are very disappointed in some people. We definitely think of (certain) people in a whole new light now. We think it's true that you really learn a lot about people when you get married and plan a wedding!!!! Sorry so dramatic- just upset w/a lot of people!!!

we invited 150 and in the end only had 79 attend. DH thought that his dad's side would come even though they haven't seen each other in almost ten years. They all responded no with different excuses. Our minimum was 100 so we paid for a lot of dinners that we didn't get, but it actually looked like there was over 100 people there. I was fine with the number.

It's not what we expected- didn't expect so many nos.....we are very disappointed in some people. We definitely think of (certain) people in a whole new light now. We think it's true that you really learn a lot about people when you get married and plan a wedding!!!! Sorry so dramatic- just upset w/a lot of people!!!


We have our minimum but I am SO WITH YOU ON THE REST!!!!!!!

our count is also going to be a lot lower than we expected. our min is 160 and we'll probably be around 185, but my parents had predicted 235ish guests attending.

FH is from OOT, and we both went to college and grad school OOT.... and we expected that some of our OOT friends would come. Well, my closest friends from school all RSVP'd 'No' and while we haven't heard from them yet, FH is expecting his college friends to all RSVP 'No' as well. i understand that flight/hotel is expensive, but I thought some people would come... I would have come to theirs if the tables were turned.

We did expect a lot of NOs (some people we were sure wouldn't come but wanted to invite anyway) but we thought SOME might say yes.

as of right now we only have 3 OOT non-BP friends attending.

we invited 190 and ended up with 151 including me and FH which is exactly where we hoped we would be! i couldn't be happier

NO problem!!! FH's dad has been really sick in the hospital and is doing better and one would think that his family would want to come to the wedding to see him....nope, its all No's! I am pisssed for FH's dad

we have 140 coming and thats our final count...we actually call it in tomorrow...it is pretty much what we had planned on

Our minimum was 150
We were originally going to invite around 190/200
Our list got out of control and we invited 250
3 weeks before our wedding we were at 140
Dont ask me how but these people are such slackers that they didnt rsvp until the very last minute

We invited 165, our minimum was 115. We expected 125. Our final number is 136. So, it is more then we expected....

well we invited like 225 and we got 176 coming. We expected around 200 and were shocked. Alot of no's I didn't expect especially from my side

Mine was the same. We invited 240 and we have 164. Alot of people were going away or had other weddings.But it's better anyways. Less people to go around to and we can enjoy our time more.

You and the other girls are totally freaking me out. We're only really inviting like 130 people and need 120. I am trying to imagine who won't show up and it's mostly on FH's side. This is going to sound so shallow but the worst part is that we're the last of everyone to get married so we can't even be no-shows to their weddings

We invited about 220 people, about 175 people RSVP and only 165 showed up.
