Ladies w/ Fortunoff registries

Did you get an email everytime something was bought off your registry? I just got one, yet I had never received one before when something was bought.

I think someone else here did.. I haven't.. it's not that time yet.. however, knowing that my shower is some time in June.. I may be getting some! =)

I did at first - then I changed my account settings so I wouldn't. Weird that it didn't before but suddenly started though.

I get emails from Fortunoffs and Bloomies...C&B doesnt send the emails...or they do and i dont get them.

I kinda figured out when my shower is, so I tried to stop peeking on my own......now fortunoff screwed that up

You get them from bloomies? I don't - but I wanted to thank bloomies for sending me an invitation to use their thank you manager and didn't warn me that I would find out what was bought, who bought it, and when it was bought. SO know I know almost 1/2 my gifts for my e-party

For some things I did and for some I didn't. I thought it was weird that I did for some and not for others.

If you wish not to receive the emails, you must let them know.

wE JUST REGISTERED so we havent yet. but you can reset your settings so you wont get notified. that way it wont ruin the surprise shower if you want it to be a surprise.

Thanks for the warning. I don't think anyone bought off our registry there yet, but I don't want an email everytime something is bought.

I haven't gotten any emails. I would like to, but I haven't figured out how to change that setting yet. It's probably for the better anyway.

i always recieve an email whenever someone has bought something off my fortunoffs registry. i think you have to tell them that you dont want to know and they will stop sending you the information. i kind of like it so i know what people have got for us.

if you go into your registry (logged in) you can go to the set up/your info area - where they have your addresses etc. and there is a section in that area that allows you to check whether or not you want to receive emails notifications when someone buys something.

I also received an e-mail from Fortunoff's everyday something was bought off my registery. MY SISTERS WERE PISSED when they found out because you can kind of figure out when your shower is because of it. You can change this in your profile and not get them anymore if you want to.

I did!! I did!!! I kept emailing them YELLING that I didn't want to see but then realized that you must change it yourself. I don't remember exactly where it was but someplace in your registry profile

If you don't want Fortunoff's to e-mail you daily telling you what was bought, here's how to change it:

Go to www.fortunoff.com.
Click on 'My Registry'.
Enter your User Name & Password and click Submit.
Click on 'Edit my Name, Address, Wedding Date and Preferences'.
Scroll to the bottom of the Name and Address screen and Click Submit.
On the next screen (the top will say User Name & Password) scroll to the part that says 'Registry Details' and change it to 'No Thanks'.
Click Submit and your done!
