I have booked: The Hall The church DJ My dress The photographer/videographer I used Timeless creations in Massapequa. He has been around for 15 years. He did my sister-in-law's wedding and engagement pictures. He does great work!

all i have is the hall...our church is already booked :( trying to book photography and the band within the next 2 weeks...

Sorry about your church. My FH doesnt understand why I am obsessed with booking everything now. 2007 is not that far away.

I've only called the church to attempt to meet with a priest.
Do you get cheaper prices on halls and things if you book in 05 for 07, as opposed to if you waited to book until sometime in 06?
I'm such a novice!

Im FREAKING out...i thought i was doing everything early, but not only is the church booked, but so is one of the photographers we were looking at. And the band we like has someone else interested in the same date...i feel like i need to do everything now!!!! Tell your FH that if you want certain things you must look now, and then take your time with the little things, like flowers, invitations, favors...

I think for all vendors the price goes up yearly. I think all will jump on this 'the gas is going up so we are' trip. I wanted to make sure I locked in all the 2005 rates.

EXACTLY. And we will also be able to pay things little by little which is important.

I am sure the prices go up each year, so if you book the hall this year you will lock the price. Besides prices, halls are booking up fast, so if you are interested in a certain date i would start looking. My hall is already all booked for July 2007.

I have nothing booked!!!!!! We are getting married In Ireland and pretty much know where. We are going back in February just to double check. I hope the date will still be available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should i really be booking hair & makeup this early???

I have the number for the carriage at home, remind me to give it to you. And I will not start looking for my dress until spring of next year. You want to make sure you see the latest styles.

oh wait I almost forgot about booking the NOTHING!!!!!!
uugghh! We are waiting til this spring/summer to go away so that we can meet with the vendors. I pretty much know what I want already so it is just a matter of seeing it in person! Oh and we are not looking for that many vendors anyway. Church, restaurant, Photo for church, sleigh ride from church to restaurant, flowers and cake
