Ladies Who are already Married.

Ladies Who are already Married.

How many guests did you invite?

How many said Yes & How many said No??

We just did our guest list and it's way over what I expected. I was just wondering how many people say no as to how many people said yes.

Thanks in advance!

we invited 220 people and had 140 people...it really is true when they say about 20% respond back no

(although we had more than 20% say no! thank god lol)

I hope so lol because right now our list is at 252 people and thats not even including our co-workers or some other friends we wanted to invite.

lol well, if you have family members like I do (well, on my fathers side) that when we invited them, we knew that they would say no, than you're good! The list could get pretty out of control reaL quick, especially with coworkers!!

That is soooo annoying when people just don't show up! Seriously, just RSVP no then!

We invited 80 people. 76 people said yes and 75 people came (one got violently ill the night before the wedding). We were shocked that so many people came because most of the people we invited live all over the country!

agreed! That aggravates me so much. At my MOH's wedding, our childhood friend responded yes with a guest and then that ******* didn't show up and he didn't even call her to tell her why. We found out he was just hanging out at a bar that night and 'forgot' about the wedding... are you kidding me?? Needless to say he's not invited to our wedding.

we invited about 180 and 133 respond yes and 130 show up (serious family emergency at last minute)

they say 20% say no but it also depends on the amount of OOT you have on the list.

215 invited,
responed Yes 135
showed up 134 guest

we end up having 3 guest dates not come, and 2 guest end up bring dates when they said they where not.

My sister is an Idiot and does this all the time to every wedding and party. My mom and i now just call it pulling a Gina ... It sooo rude i hate when she does it and we go to everything and every one is like oh wheres your sister and i have to be the @ss that makes up the excuse!

the rule of thumb is that 15% of people do not come to the wedding.

Also, the familyu vs friends ratio.
the more family you invite, the more likely you will get more people at the wedding. the more friends you invite, the less likely they are to come to the wedding.

HTH!

we invited about 200, and had 150 rsvp yes, and we ended up with about 142 actually show up. We had one no show and two extremely last minute cancellations. I would say invite whoever...bc it got to the point that we began to invite people we were originallyunsure of when we first sent out the invites (we didnt send them to them at first) but when we saw people RSVP'ing no we invited more people.

Maybe send out one wave of invitations to the people you MUST have, then see how many no's you get, then send a second wave of invitations to the co-workers and such.

We invited about 115 and had 100 - I think it depends on how many OOT people you are inviting too. . when we made our list we made columns for those we knew were coming, ones we thought would probably come, and ones we thought probably wouldn't - that gave us a little more idea of how many people who could invite. . like for us 80% we knew were going to come so we didn't invite too many over. ..
