Re: Ladies who did Dyeable shoe..
i dyed a pair of shoes red for my sister's wedding. The dye did not come off, but I took off the shoes for the reception.
I dyed the same pair of shoes black for another wedding I was in recently. I wore them the whole night, and my feet WERE stained black before I even got to the reception!

Re: Ladies who did Dyeable shoe..
I had dyeables in two weddings, the one from Davids Bridal was red and it was all over my feet at the end, and the shoes looked nasty at that point. The ones I had from another place were only beige and they really didn't or I just couldn't tell. I remember them saying something about possibly sealing the dye.

Re: Ladies who did Dyeable shoe..
I use to dye dyable shoes when I worked at a shoe store years ago. It was a lot of us mixing the dyes and dying shoes!
I have always hated the idea of wearing dyable shoes. First, they look different colors in different light. Totally different colors! Second, the color runs. You can 'seal' them with waterproofing... but they will still rub dye on you from the inside. Third, any amount of water on the shoe will ruin the shoe. I have noticed that even when the shoe is 'sealed' with a water proofer it runs when you get the shoes wet. Watch out for that wet grass too!
Overall, dont get dyed shoes!
