ladies who had to call guests who didnt RSVP.......

what did you do about FHs family members that you don't know? Did you call them or have him call?? i was gonna have FH call but im afraid he wont get around to it......i feel weird calling people i dont know lol please tell me what you did thanks

We had this problem with our eparty. FH and his parents called his family. My family is good like that I mean seriously, it's his wedding too, he needs to call them. Don't let him tell you to do it! He wanted them there!

im probobly gonna get stuck doing it FHs molm is in a nursing home , im afraid his dad will forget and getting Steve to do anything these days is like pulling teeth lol ill have to talk to him about it on saturday when i see who RSVPs im gonna give it till saturday even tho the RSVP date is friday...saturday is the last mail day of the week so Monday ill start calling UGHHHHHHH people are annoying! lol

this happened to us for everything...eparty, wedding...they are terrible at RSVP'ing!!!! My in-laws handled it though.....it would have been ackward if we called I think. We only had 3 on my side and it was bc my great aunt is in the hospital and they weren't sure until last minute, but we were aware of the situation obviously

You should give people a week really. So if you're RSVP date is this Friday, give them till next friday to call.....you'll still get some stragglers in next week. Some people are morons and actually send it in the day it's due or see it the day or right after it's due and say oh shiit and then send it in.

He really should call his own family, make the list for him, give him the numbers and make him call.

yeah i know its just so anoying!!!!!! lol i was gonna make the rsvp date the 10th i wish i would have kept it.

We are missing 3 RSVPs (6 ppl) all FIL's family/friends. FFIL refuses to call them. So we're just 'assuming' they're not coming. They were very adamant that we not call... they are insulted that these people didn't respond and take it as they are not coming. It pissed me off a lot at first but our seating chart & final head count is due tomorrow so I have decided it won't bother me anymore! If those 6 ppl show up, I will point them in FFIL's direction and let him deal with it!!!

we had a relative on Will's side call around and let people know that we didn't get their rsvp, but didn't have anyone call specifically to get their answer.
does that make sense?
like 'oh wow, i can't believe how close the wedding is, i almost forgot to RSVP' or something like that...
