Ladies who have been to Mexico or are going for HM

We booked our HM for Riviera Maya in Cancun Mexico, and now I am a little scared because of all of the travel warnings. Supposedly even some resorts are not safe. Has any bride recently gone to Cancun? Is it safe?? I want to be relaxed on my honeymoon, not fearing for my life!!

It is just fine I was there 6 months ago. As long as you stay in the tourist area you will be safe. You are going to love it.

Well girl I just got back Sunday night from Cancun. I have never felt safer any where else. We rented a Harley bike and drove an hour down to Playa del Carmen.

Neither one of us 2 have been there but everyone was super helpful and great people. Trust me you wont have that fear that someone is following you.

We cant wait to go back it was beyong our expectations.

I went to Cancun during the Swine Flu outbreak of all times, and it was very safe. I also just got back from Cabo two nights ago, and never had any issues either. I highly recommend going!

i was there last year in sept, no worries or issues at all.

all the crime issues are in the northern part of mexico, not in the southern area by cancun or riviera maya.

im going to mexico for my HM, Im not worried at all.

Cancun, Cabo, all the tourist areas are fine and actually they are super accomodating to tourists... it's their livelihood.

Border towns have the worst crime and the tourist areas are nowhere near the border...
