I received a call to confirm my appointment and the lady mentioned that this weekend they are having an extra 15% off to celebrate their 1 yr anniversary in manhattan or something like that. Not sure if they typically give that kind of a discount or if the lady was trying to make me feel like this is an opportunity I shouldn't pass up. I don't want to be fooled.
Can you negotiate the price of a dress with them or are they strict and stick to whatever price the tag shows?
Also, for those ladies who will/have purchased some of the more pricier designers like Reem Acra, Eve of Milady and Amalia Carrara where will/did you order from? I spoke with Burtons and Gownfind and they are not 100% certain they can get these dresses for less as they are designer.
Any responses would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks - LIW Ladies always come through!!!

Re: Ladies who have gone to Kleinfeld's
I ordered my dress from Kleinfeld's and was unable to negotiate a lower price. I even asked if there was any room on the price and they said no. I ordered an Alvina Valenta. I hope this helps.

Re: Ladies who have gone to Kleinfeld's
I brought a Reem Acra from Kleinfeld's, the price on the tag was $100 more than what the Reem Acra Salon was charging, when I mentioned it, Kleinfeld took the $100 off. I guess that's nothing compared to how much the gown was... they wouldn't go any lower on the price bc they said it's a Reem Acra policy not to give discounts. I'm not sure if that's true, but Saks told me the same thing and Saks wouldn't even match the price of the Reem Acra Salon, which annoyed me a bit.
Kleinfeld's did throw in free alterations, which was $395.
