ladies who moved or are moving in with FH from their parents house,.....

Did / are you having a problem getting packed??
I have been doing it little by little all week and have only filled 3 boxes. I dont know what to bring and what to toss. I also have a very small room so as i pack the boxes i have nowhere to put them!!! I can't put them in my parents Living room beause all my shower gifts are in there lol I am so lost!!
so i decided instead of looking for things to keep i would start with the garbage.........no better!!!! lol
i gotta get this done!!!

We don't know when we are going to move in just yet but I have been going through my room a little each day. I decided the only things I want to bring with me are clothes and maybe some books. SO I've sorted through my clothes and I am donating what I don't want and selling books online etc... My TV is one of the big old things and I'd rather get a new one for a living room anyway so that's being donated.

Besically I would start with what you will definately need to bring. The shower gifts and clothes etc...

my rule of thumb each of the many times I moved. If you havent used it in the last year - toss it. It was amazing how much I saved for no reason and it made packing so much easier. Good luck

It was and still is a very hard task! I am going through most of my clothes and only bringing what fits (I lost weight and don't intend on gaining it back! Hopefully it works!!) I am leaving behind my book collection for now and most of my childhood memorialbilia. I didn't think I had so much to put away!!!

All i can say is tht our spare room is filled still with all my boxes. Moving is no fun....i packed forever it felt like and i got rid of tons of stuff but still i have so much stuff with nowhere to put it all. Until we buy a house it will remain in boxes. I still feel like my move wasn't complete and its been over 4 months already.....

thats the EXACT reason why i was told BY my parents to bring over stuff (clothes ) i need for a month... and all my other stuff to keep home and move in AFTER FIL's leave.

there is NO place for me to pack things at home... no place to put it now at their house... and if there is i see no reason to leave it in their attic to ONLY drag it down the stairs when they leave....

soo all in all .. im not REALLY moving in until 2009!

I've been almost married for a week....all I have at my apt. is my clothes and our shower gifts...I still havent moved anything else. Its ok though...I'll get to it!!

OMG....please check out my post on the first page of the 08 boards...i wrote the EXACT same thing last night....it is overwhelming!!!
