Ladies who were at their 5 month mark..

What were you doing at your 5 month mark?

At 5 months, which was last month for me, I started to look for invitations, (i just got the proofs back). I also booked my table linens (chair sashes and napkins). And we recently booked our videographer.

I would recommend having all your vedors booked at 5 months... pick your BMs dresses (if you havent already)... look for viels, shoes, DOJ

Wedding bands next week.

Finalized when I will go for dinner menu and florist meeting right before the wedding.

I think the last thing I have is invites-which my aunt lent me all her books, I have my decision made and will place the order next week sometime.

And then I have a few other things to do, but minor things that can be completed in the next few months.

The problem is i have all this stuff done already...lol.. As to the rehearsal dinner we are having it at home.I just have to do my invites and small things that have to wait.

Lol... at 5 months, we were only 1 month engaged. We had just booked the RH at 5 1/2 months and had pretty much nothing else done. Oh, I had gotten my dress by then, but hadn't done any fittings.

So basically, at 5 months all I had done was:

RH
BM dresses ordered
veil ordered

Soon after we booked DJ and photo. I ordered invites about a month later.

Then again, I did all my planning on a much faster time-line that most. You have to do what works for you!

I am still being lazy... I really need to get back into planning... its just that no one is helping me plan anything- so when I ask FH to help me and he says 'not today babe'... then I just dont do anything lol

I was in the invitation design process and i'm making alot of trips to michaels and staples for some DIY stuff

Awww... let me know if you want to go do some wedding stuff together. We're a week apart and I'm pretty much going it alone here too, so I wouldn't mind the company.

I'm doing my hair trial on 5/16 out on Long Island, so just let me know if you are around and want to go shoe shopping or something that day... otherwise I'm going to go it alone.
