How soon before your wedding are you planning to highlight your hair? haha i dont want roots for the wedding but not sure how close to it I should do it!

1 to 2 weeks before the wedding i will get them tuched uped which would probaly be around the time i am due for them

I am a hairdresser and I suggest 1 week before since the highlights don't go on the scalp and a touch up would. You would be surprised how much roots you might have in 2 weeks and then regret it!

i just got my hair done yesterday and i am going a week before the wedding for a glaze. but i have dark hair with red highlights...i guess it all depends on what kind of process you get done. do you have a regular colorist?

Yeah--- i do she said a week before, but I just wanted to check and see what other girls were doing... im getting married on a saturday, what if I did it the day before on friday? so its nice and fresh haha

My hair stylist told me to do it on Monday/Tuesday 9/19(20).... My wedding is on 8/25

i usually think my hair looks too blonde the first few days, so I'm planning on doing it about a week and a half before

i tell my clients to come in at least a week before, and ask your stylist to add on root around your face (when they 'paint'extra on the root after the foil is in place) that way it gives your hair some time to rest and strenghten up for all the blowing out and styling thats gonna be done to it.

I did mine 1 week before. I did the touch up and the highlights.

I did it 3 weerks before. My colorist and hair stylist both told me to do it 3 weeks before because they said I needed a tiny bit of root to add dimension to the hair style. Not sure what that means exactly, but my hair did look fabulous the day of and in in pictures

I got mine done a week and a half before the wedding. I didn't look like it was JUST done and I didn't have roots. Looked PERFECT!

This, and I have started counting backwards already to make sure that I have them spaced out enough until the wedding........
