Re: ladies with invisalign
I had invisalign a couple of years ago but did not need any teeth extracted either. They might be talking about your wisdom teeth, have you had them taken out?

Re: ladies with invisalign
I had spaces in between my front teeth so I had the invisalign and it worked great.

Re: ladies with invisalign
i think i got ripped off
id say they cost anywhere from 2500-8K maybe?
ets: my teeth werent that bad - i only have 9 trays and it cost me A LOT of money but i wanted my teeth perfect for the wedding, so my FH and i just did it anyway so i can as much as i want without being self conscious - i figure its my smile, its worth it (but if we werent in a crunch for time with the wedding i would have shopped around more for a better price )

Re: ladies with invisalign
I didnt have too but the dentist told me that I might. The thing is when i was little i had teeth removed for the regular braces so i didnt have to do it this time because i had already done it back then

I'm so interested in getting invisalign, but I don't know how i will ever come up with the funds! It really is worth it though. Have you other girls who have it or had it find that it was in that price range?

Re: ladies with invisalign
fh has them and didnt have to get any teeth extracted (he recently got his wisdom teeth removed, but has nothing to do with the invisalign)
his are costing him around 2500, since his insurance is picking up half. i think he put 1000 down, and then pays monthly or whenever he goes to pick up more trays (more teeth-haha)

Re: ladies with invisalign
Hey girls, I work in an orthodontist office as an assistant. We do Invisalign and in most cases if a person is too crowded they make room in between your teeth little by little each time you go with a little strip thats kinda like sandpaper to make room for the teeth to move. I guess if you are too crowded they will recommend having a tooth pulled. I had them and I am so glad I did it. They were easy to use and worked very well. If anyone would like more info feel free to FM me.

Re: ladies with invisalign
If your dentist tells you that you need to extract teeth for ortho - GET A SECOND OPINION.
I would also recommend doing invisalign with an orthodontist, instead of a regular dentist. It also should not cost more than $5000 on Long Island (cost varies by location - its actually only about $3000 in southern states). FM if you have anymore questions!
