WHEN GETTING READY FOR THE WEDDING I KNOW YOU CAN GET READY AT HOME, BUT SOME PEOPLE GET READY AT A HOTEL CLOSER TO THE RECEPTION....
MY QUESTION IS DO YOU BOOK A BRIDAL SUITE FOR THE NIGHT BEFORE OR WHEN BLOCKING ROOMS FOR OOT GUEST JUST PAY FOR ONE OF THE ROOM TO GET READY IN AND GIVE TO MY BROTHER FOR THE NIGHT....
CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW THIS WORKS?? I'M TOTALLY CONFUSED...

If you and your husband are going to spend the night after your wedding @ that hotel then use that room to get ready in in the morning and then go back to it to stay the night of...

this is what i did:
i booked the bridal suite in the hotel for 2 nights. i stayed in it alone the first night and got ready there the morning of the wedding. then DH and i stayed in the room for our wedding night.
does that answer your question?

we're doing this:
FH is getting his own regular room the nite before at the OOT guest hotel. (that will be included in the block)
i will be getting the 'king' room, the nite before as well as using that for our bridal suite the nite of the wedding.
so i'll be getting ready in my room, and FH in his regular room, but he'll bring his stuff to my room before he leaves for the wedding.

This is what we're doing:
I booked 2 suites, one for the night before the wedding for me to sleep in wtih my 7 bridesmaids to get ready in, for pictures the next AM, etc... I'll check out....
The other suite is for me and my new DH to come home to the night we get married...brand new reservation.
The rest of the OOT will have just basic rooms w/ either a double or King. HTH

oh if you're blocking out hotel rooms anyway, ask them block a suite for you too. Sometimes you get discounted rates on suites/your room when you block/fill a certain number of rooms.
