I was just there this past weekend. 12 of us went for our bachelor/bachelorette party weekend.. we had a BLAST!!!

We stayed at the Sand n Surf hotel and it was fantastic!!!!!!!! The owners (Gus) and his g/f (Cory) were so cool. Gus is a DJ/part owner of a few clubs in South Beach - very cool ppl.

We partied 3 night pretty late on the beach and made quite a ruckus and they didn’t mind. We made fires every night and the last night Gus & Cory came down and partied with us - we all got pretty nutty.

The room were all renovated this winter, so we were the first ppl to see the new place. It was really niceeeeee... each room has it's own kitchen with all the amenities.

Here's the website.. PM me if you want more info..

Sand n Surf

In town there is sooooooooo much to do. There are TONS of bars/shops.. there are miles of miniature golf places, 2 haunted houses, water parks, Great Escapes theme park, go-carts, paintball, lazer tag, wax museum, old time photo places, you can rent boats/jet ski's, horseback riding.. endless amounts of things to do, the list goes on and on..

We all loved it so much were planning a trip back in August, plus we exchanged numbers with the owners so we can visit them in the Winter down in South Beach..

Here are a few pictures from the weekend...

If I try to book now for the last weekend in June do you think I'll get something decent?

Labor Day weekend?

How far is it from NYC?

Love your pics!

I have been there, but we actually stayed in Saratoga, which is also a great town. It was about 1/2 hour away. We went mini-golfing, hung out at the beach, went on a paddle boat ride around the lake...It was a great time!

Definitely do it now!!! All the hotels/motels book up fast!

It took us 4 1/2 hours from Long Island. However on the way home we got stuck on I-87 because of 2 car accidents..

Here are some more funny shots..

OMG, I LOVE Lake George. DH has never been there. I have gone a few times. We always camp when we go there. Heartland Campground, site 252. They have so many motels and inns. We might go this summer. I love that place, the restaurants, the shops, the bars, the booze cruise, renting a boat, wax museum. SOOOOO much to see and do. It is such a great atmosphere!!

I LOVEEEEEEEE Lake George. This august will be my 16th year going. We go with a bunch of family and friends and stay in the depe dene restort. When we 1st started going we had 3 cabins in the resort that were with our family now we book about 30 cabins. Its really fun if you have a boat or jetskis. If not you can always rent them. At night there is always something to do in town...shopping, mini golf, go carts. If you want to go in the summer you should book about a year in advance, sometimes you get lucky and can find a place that will have a cancellation but most of the time everything is booked from may till sept

We went last Aug. and want to go again this year. We go for 3 days and 2 nights. In the summer it is a 2 night min.
We stayed at the Surf Side. It was close to everything.
We went horseback riding, tubing down the Hudson River, and jet-skiing.
We want to try white water rafting this summer.
There is so much to do there.
