I just started reading Lake House by Patterson and I'm a bit disappointed so far. It just seems so far-fetched....what do you ladies think (w/o giving anything away) ;-)

I read it and posted here about it a few mths ago - it was good, but not my favorite. It was a continuation of When the Wind Blows, and I that wasn't my favorite either! Too sci fi for me....my favorite of his was The Beach House

I also posted on it. I actaully liked the concept of the winged children. You never know what weird scientific experiments go on. I didn't think it was that far fetched esp. with cloning and genetic engineering. And I actually never read Sci Fi. JMO-but I hated the Beach House..very predictable, and portrayed the East end as very stuck up. I think his series with the San Franciso Women cops is the best. The last one was Second Chance-great story

I loved when the wind blows. But I like those kinds of books. I love his series with Alex Cross.

I have read every James Patterson novel and I have to say that Lake house wasnt my favoirt, not even close. I think my favorite James Patterson book would have to be Black Friday or Kiss the Girls...
