Lame 'I'm all alone on a Friday night because FH is away' post of the night.

Has anyone here ever woken up one day and looked in the mirror only to discover that they are slowly morphing into their mother?

no, not morphing into mom yet, but I am at home alone (does my puppy count), while FH is at the Giants game.

I am not like my mother, we are so different. I love her, but she is the exact opposite of me!

she's a teacher and i guess some of her facial expressions have rubbed off on me...
my students call it the 'waiting face.' fh (who was in her class in 6th grade!!) and i call it the 'debra face'

Oh my God...I was just about to start a therad along the same thought...FH is home but sleeping...he was in a car accident a few weeks ago and got pretty hurt so he goes to the doctor 3 times a week for therapy and all that good stuff...coms home and knocks out after taking his pain killer...I asked him the other day: 'Is somebody taking care of you at the doctor's office?' He goes, 'Yeah I get massages', Im like what kind of massages!? ...I know they're therapeutic and all but God only knows...oh well I know Im rambling on senseslessly but oh what the heck its Friday night and m all alone with my dog next to me and sleeping FH on the other side sleeping...allright I'll hush now...

Not physically...but recently I caught myself in mid sentance and realized i sounded exactly like my mother!!! Oh my poor FH has no idea what he is getting in to!!!!!!!
