We're going to be there this weekend, does anyone know of anything to do in Lancaster or around there, also in Philadelphia (with a 3 year old)??? Already been to the Crayola factory....

Lancaster there is Dutch Wonderland and right near there is the Stroudsburg train museum. I think you get to take a ride on the train and stuff. I think the town is Stroudsburg...anyway it starts with an S.

Not too far from Philly is Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA. - I also think there's the Please Touch Museum in the City of Philly as well which is geared for children that age. www.pleasetouchmuseum.org

There are alot of things to do: candlle factory demenstration
Historical Houses, where you take a tour of the house and they get in to details of the life of the Ameish people and a few farm animals
Carriage horse rides throught the ameish(sp?)homes and their everyday life
A movie theater with an amiesh movie explaining their way of life
Yes, the train takes you around the countryside, it's an old locomotive train, I think your son would like it. And I think they have a small museum near by too.
I can't remenber the others, but they do have a visitor's center which you can get pamphlets
And finally..... Shopping at discount prices, very similar to Tanger Shopping in Riverhead
But look up in the internet: Lancaster and you will find alot of info

In Philly there is the science museum. Might go over your 3 year old's head a bit but it's mostly interactive which he/she will find fun I think!
Don't know much about Lancaster sorry.

Kitchen Kettle Village in Lancaster or perhaps it's Intercourse, PA (dont remember) is a cute shopping village in the heart of Amish country. Also, they have buggy rides around the beautiful Amish farms near there.
Philly - so much to see- Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Betsy Ross House, the museum where Rocky ran up the steps. Rittenhouse Square has lots of upscale restaurants. Stroll down South street (like the village)...
