Landloards! Kinda Long!
I HATE landloards!!!! Me and fh have been renting this apt. in queens for over 2 years now and we are the best tenents anyone could want. Our land loard is an older lady who lives by herself downstairs from us (it's a 2 family house). We are super quiet, and whenever it is bad weather, rain, snow, or too hot, I help her out by going to the store for her. And in the snow we shovel the driveway and side walk in front of the house even though we are not allowed to park in the driveway or use the garage, which by the way is totally empty since she does not have a car! We never complain about anything, even the fact that she never puts the heat on in the winter and we have to bundle up to stay warm! Since she lives by herself she is alone during the week since her kids cant visit so I sometimes will talk with her just to keep her company, and whenever I bake anything I give her some. So here is the point of my rant, today fh and I walked past a puppy store and fell in love with this french bulldog, the puppy just loved us and she was sooo cute! It didn't say anything about not having any pets in our lease, but we figured we should just ask first. And when we asked her she said NO! We told her they are very small and perfect for apartments because they do not really yelp or bark, but she still said NO!! I wanted to cry, I've wanted a puppy for soo long, and we are adults we are responsible enough to have one, but she said she didn't want the rugs to get ruined! I'm sooo mad!!! Now it is just pushing us to search for a house! Sorry this is so long I just needed to vent!![]()
