Lands End and Giorgios Brides

Hi ladies- I am new to the boards and am looking at Lands End and Giorgios this weekend for my reception. Does anyone have experience with these places? Also, does anyone know of churches nearby each place? Thanks!!

Lands End is absolutely gorgeous and the food is amazing. Just be prepared because it is really .

I haven't had any experience with Georgio's though. I know that they have beach access, but it's not directly on the water like Land's End.

I don't know anything about Giorgio's but I did look at Lands End and booked there first. I LOVE LE. It's beautiful and scenic. We had a very difficult time dealing with them...they were basically non-negotiable on everything. We ended up cancelling there.

I went to my friend's wedding there after that and it was fantastic. The food was excellent as was the service. It was not your basic 'wedding' food, its more gourmet, and everyone was raving about it. My friend, the bride, had some difficulty dealing with them towards the end but she said that the day of her wedding, they were awesome. Oh and the wedding cake was delicious.

The only downfall that I noticed is that the ball room is rather plain, other than the big windows on the one side. Because of the really high ceilings, I would say you would have to get tall cp's there, just to kind of jazz it up a bit, otherwise there is a lot of open space. That's JMO. It was a rainy day when I was there so it was kind of dark in the room but her bright cps made it look really good.

I'm a Giorgio's Bride and I love it there! They have everything...the beach (only a golf cart ride away) and golf course and a beautiful garden. I've been to many weddings and I've never seen a cocktail hour like Giorgio's.
Its worth every penny. If you have any questions, feel free to FM me!
