Land's End Brides

How much is everyone tipping the BM, Bridal Attendant and Maitre D? I was hearing 15% for the maitre d from some places and maybe it's just me, but that is so so much money! What did you girls do/will you be doing for tips?

I worked in catering for many years as both maitre'd and bridal attendant. As bridal attendant, I received anywhere from 0 to $100. As Maitre'd, my catering hall always gave me a standard $500 for each party I worked over and above my salary. I would usually receive an additional $100-$300 from the hosts of the party.

It is really up to you. They are paid pretty well and any additional gratuity is always appreciated. I hope this helps somewhat.

In our contract they put $300 to give to the maitre'd which is what the standard is

Thanks so much, I had heard 20% of the wedding price and my dad was like no way I am giving that much! So $300 is a good amount? What about the bridal attendant, how much did you tip her?

yeah that is not what you give...You can also ask your Rh to double check but 300 is standard, if you want give maybe a little extra if you want to, but not necessary. I don't know about the bridal attendant, sorry.

i would say we are tipping about 300 or so...depending on the flow of the RH

probably giving the bridal attendant 50-100

Not a lands end bride but we tipped our maitre'd $250, he really didnt do anything at all. Our bridal attentdant however was incredible, we originally had $50 in an envelope for her, but because she was so super we ended up tipping her $200
