Land's End (Lovin Oven Caterers)

I am having my wedding at Land's End. I just wanted to know what your thoughts were on it. Did you go to a wedding there? or Did you have your wedding there? Or are you having your wedding there? what do you think of it?

Its the second place that I saw. The first place I saw was Flowerfields and I went with Land's End since I liked it on the water...However I am not sure if I am second guessing my decision and not sure if i should have looked around some more. I love Lands End...dont get me wrong but did i jump quickly...I was scared I would not be able to get the date that I wanted!!!

Congratulations on making an excellent choice!

I've only seen Land's End from the outside.... its beautiful!! The setting is awesome on the water and its so secluded. I have heard nothing but great things about it. I also looked at Flowerfield first....I loved it there.. especially the cocktail hour room... but the ballroom I thought was blah compared to the cocktail hour room. I know the Lovin Oven food is amazing so I think its really the setting that you have to pick in choosing bewteen the two. I would think in June being on the water will be gorgeous!

& if it makes you feel better... I only looked at 3 places.. and booked the 3rd I saw. So I think you just know when you see it.

I think Land's End is gorgeous. It was probably my second choice, but I absolutely fell in LOVE with Flowerfield, and I also decided that it might be a bit too chilly on the water for an October wedding.

I say relax. If you love it then you love it, and Lovin Oven has a fantastic reputation, so you won't be disappointed by the food or service. I saw probably 10 or 12 halls and the two Lovin Oven ones were my absolute favorites. Also, I had some of their food at the recent wedding showcase they had at Land's End and it was FANTASTIC, so you have nothing to worry about.

Just relax and enjoy it!

i have heard NOTHING but the best reviews from people who have been to weddings at Lands End, Flowerfield, and anything that Lovin Oven owns and represents... they do a great job.

We went to a showcase for L.O. brides at Lands End recently and it was beautiful-- what a view!!

I really think you are going to LOVE it... and just a few months after you I'll be at Flowerfield!! VERY exciting--don't doubt your choice a bit, your guests and you and your FH will have a BLAST!!

It's a beautiful hall def one of my top choices. I really didn't want a water location since we had just had another big family wedding the year before on the water so thats why I turned away. But, I dont think you will be disappointed

We looked all over for our wedding place. We went all the way from Bayville (Crescent Beach Club) all the way out to Altantica in the Hamptons. We went to 7 or 8 different places in 2 days. As soon as we walked into Lands End we knew that is where we wanted it. The staff there is very helpful and nice. We are getting married next year. You made a great choice.

Land's end is lovely. I went to a wedding there and it was a close second choice for my wedding! We went with FF because of the indoor ceremony....
Anyway a good friend of mine had a land's end wedding and it was just wonderful. You will be in good hands. Lovin Oven does an amazing job.

Don't second guess your choice, I was told by quite a few people that Lands End is great. I would have looked at them but they were a bit over my price range. I was curious though! Nothing but wonderful reviews from brides and people who have dined there! Congrats and don't worry about a thing!

I went to a wedding in Oct and Lovin Oven Caterers did the food. It was one of the best wedding foods I have had. I dont know anything about Lands End but the catering is fantastic.
