went to a wedding at bridgeview, they set up the room beautifully. Loved the drapping on the ceilings, it was a nice touch. The food was delicious and we had an amazing time.

Never been to a wedding at lands end but have heard many raves about them, heard the food is amazing

they both have different looks so i would pick the place that has more of the style youre looking for.

A friend of mine just got married at Lands End this summer... and everyone loved it! Also, maybe you should look into Lombardi's on the Sound... it's around the same price, and has waterview also. I've been to Bridgeview as a club...so that would seem a little wierd as a reception hall, but it is huge and beautiful.... HTH! Good Luck

I have read really old posts where it says that during the summer they make you leave by 11 for the club...what about late Sept. Same rule? I hope not
anyone know???

I'm a little biased...I loved Land's End. The food was awesome, service was great, and I am still getting compliments about my wedding :) I also used to go the Bridgeview YC nightclub and I couldn't envision getting married at a club I used to go to. FM me for more info on LE if you want to

Sooo funny, that was exactly why I never went to look at Bridgeview! It's right where I grew up but too many drunken nights, haha, I can't possibly get married there, it would just be so wrong in my head.

But I looove Land's End, obviously

i used to go to bridgeview all the time and thought it would be weird being there. But they make it look SOOOO different. The big dance floor they put up a whole big covered type tent, but doesnt look like a tent. They drape the ceilings, have big chandeliers. Of course i did turn to dh and say 'wow how many times have we partied here in our single days' dh said at first he couldnt even figure out exactly where we were until i explained it to him. But it didnt really matter, we thought about it for a minute and then just had the best time the rest of the night

plus you said you went there only once so really its not that bad then. Not like you went there on a regular basis

BRIDGEVIEW is ONLY open during the summer so late sept there is no club going on. They also extended the club part of bridgeview and has this whole other inside part now...i heard eventually they will keep only the new place as the club and BYC will be used just for events.

I've never been to the Bridegeview Yacht Club so I can't give you my opinion there. However, we had a great experience with Land's End. The setting is lovely, the food is wonderful and the staff is very professional and helpful.

We had our wedding at BYC and they were amazing! So accommodating and the food was great.

Just so everyone is aware, BYC is no longer a club. There is a new place next door that opened, Warehouse 5 that took over the club aspect. BYC is solely for functions and they are great at it
