I live in Sayville, and I will try and drive by, and see if they flowers out yet this weekend!
I also live in Sayville. I run by the Lands End a lot, I will see what I can see and let you know!
I'll be there tomorrow for our 'final meeting.' Will let you know.
I got married there the end of April (2002) and flowers were in bloom.
i was just there at the end of April and all the plants were in bloom and looked amazing. im getting married there in 2005 so i can wait to hear your reviews. good luck and the outside looks amazing and is all set up for the spring/summer season.
I will be going soon for my final meeting...when I get back I will post all the details.
I haven't been by Land's End itself lately, but live in the area. Rhodedendrons have been blooming and are starting to fade. Azaleas are late this year, and buds are just getting ready to burst - probably start later this week as it gets warmer. Still see some tulips and daffodils in bloom and the dogwood trees and lilac are starting to come out. Hostas are filling in nicely, keeping the ground from looking bare. Like the others, I'll swing by if I get out today, and give a report if others don't post first.
I ran by Lands End this morning on my run. They have marigolds and impatiens lining the parking lot - looks very nice. I snuck around so I could see the courtyard and they had a lot of blooming flowers, though I can't tell you what kind because I didn't go too far in. At any rate, it looks good!
I'll second that - it looks good. All the summer annuals are in - potted geraniums, marigolds, daisys, petunias and some flowering bushes. It will look even better in a few weeks as the warm weather causes the flowers to start filling in even more.
