Does anyone have any experience with any of these places? The long Island venues have to be in the afternoon b/c of the amt of people .Water club in city can be at night. Im stuck and am curious if anyone has had any experience with any of these. Thanks so much in advance

VYC is absolutely gorgeous. All of the reviews that I've read from past brides have been excellent and I hear that the food is great. You really can't beat the view.
Land's End is supposed to be great too. They have really pretty grounds to take pictures at too. They're definitely more $$ than VYC though.
I don't have any experience with the Water Club. Good luck in picking a venue!

Lands End. I know I'm biased because I'm getting married there but I've been there for a wedding before and it was amazing. The food, views and staff were unbelievable. You wouldn't regret your choice.

i was in a bridal party about 10 years ago at the water club. from what i remember everything was very nice, the food was excellent...i think it was a choice of filet mig, swordfish and vegiterian...
what i did not like..which i remember to this day was....
the ny sanitation department was tugging/w/ a tug boat a flat boat with garbage it was happening during the outdoor coctail hour and it was what everyone saw going through the east river...and the view of brooklyn from that area is nothing spectacular...
so if you are going for the water..view etc. i would not go there.
they you try waters edge in LI City?

Def check out WATERSEDGE. It''s beautiful, the skyline is breathtaking. Two reasons why I didnt pick #1 no bridal room, dont know if that is a concern for you. #2 the CT room.....I didnt like how if it rained the guests would have to wait outside in the hallway for them to clean up from the cocktail hour, to go into the main ballroom. But again the main room is amazing. You could even have the CT hr outside on the pier.
Lands End was very pretty also, and Lovins Oven provides great service! I havent heard any compliants!
VYC...Nothing negative to say they were in the middle of changing over from John Anthonys when I was looking and it wasnt my taste. But do a search on here, i've heard good things.

VYC! It's BEAUTIFUL! It was the first RH I looked at and I fell in love with it.
Land's End was also beautiful and FH and I liked it a lot, but was way out of our price range.
Have you visited all three places? Meet with the banquet managers, keep a notebook in the car, and write down what you liked or didn't like about each place.
Good luck!
