Lantern favors
I saw these lantern bird cage favors at Hobby Lobby, and loved them. My question is, would it be rude just to place them on the tables without gift box and perhaps lite up and a thank you tag for favors. One has a battery candle, one has a tealight. They are white and brushed gold. My DIL in going for a vintage/elegant look.
I attached images, but don't know where they went.
Here is the link to my favor pinterest board.

Lantern favors
I don't think that it is at all inappropriate to forego gift boxes. I have been to SO Many weddings where the favors were just placed on the tables (mini bottles of wine, bottle openers, shot glasses) and never thought about it twice. I think as long as you attach something indicating that it is the favor, even if it's just a tag that says 'thank you for joining us on our special day' or ' x&x, date of wedding' it would be great.I think it is a great idea, wouldn't have even thought of putting them in a box to be honest!
