Large comb on veil...what to do?!

Large comb on veil...what to do?!

Hi ladies...
I want to wear my veil for the ceremony, but not for the rest of the night. My hairdresser said that with the comb on the veil so large, it woudl be difficult to take the veil out of my hair without ruining it.

I am thinking about cutting off some of the teeth of the comb...so that instead of being about three inches wide, it would be only about an inch wide. This way, it would slide out of my hair more easily.

Has anyone ever done this before??? I don' t want to ruin my veil! Please help

I TELL ALL MY BRIDES WHEN I DO THERE HAIR THAT THOSE COMBS DON'T HLD ANYWWAY TO TAKE THEM OFF AND PUT LOOPS ON THE VEIL TO USE BOBYPINS. THATS EASIER AND WILL LESS LIKYL TO PLL YOUR HAIR OUT WHEN YOU TAKE IT OFF.
