Re: Large gap between ceremony and reception
My church is at 2 and my cocktail hr starts at 6. Huge gap of time. Church is 45 minutes from the reception hall (we hired coach buses to take the guests from the church to the hall and back). Our hall is opening up a hospitality hour at 4:00 for our guests (should be arriving around that time or a little later). It will include food being passed around, drinks being passed around and we are hiring some form of music for that time. If we are done with pics early and etc, and we give the ok, they are opening the cocktail hr at 5:30 instead of 6 so we will have an hr and a half cocktail hr! They were very cooperative.
