hello , i'm helping my friend out with finding an rh in LI. does anyone know which ones hold up to 400 (or even more) but must seat 400. thanks so much in advance

well i used the skylight room at jericho terrace, if you use the whole room it can seat 400 ppl. Some people get confused and think the skylight room holds less people bc they split the room so for smaller weddings they can use it. I used the whole room and we were told it can seat up to 400 ppl

I am using Westbury manor. The Manor room (their largest room) can hold 448.

I would absolutely not check out Glen Cove Mansion. I've been to 2 weddings there, and was completely underwhelmed. And they DEFINITELY cannot accommodate 400+ people . The last wedding I attended there had 250, and everyone was beyond squished, and a quarter of the guests couldn't see or hear anything.
Also look into my venue - Woodbury Country Club, I'm pretty sure they can do 400+

Thatched Cottage could definitely NOT hold 400 all in one room. Maybe if you used all 3 of their rooms (which are not connected) they could seat that number, but definitely not all in one space. HTHs.

not sure if you are open to queens, but Russo's on the Bay's 'Renassaince Room' should hold 400 and they have excellent food & service

Definitely Russo's on the Bay. It's amazing. the food is great and there is definitely plenty of room. I didn't even look at any other place, since most places say they can accomodate that many people, which they can, but it's very tight and uncomfortable. The tables are usually on top of each other. At Russo's there is so much room in between the table, since the room is so big.

The Inn at New Hyde Park (my RH) does one wedding at a time and can seat 400.

Crest Hollow can definitely accommodate. I had a very good experience with them.

We had ours at Terrace on the Park. We had invited about 470 people and only had 350 respond yes. The room we were in can hold a max of 500. I aimed at having 10 people per table and even like that there was so much room. Oh, and the room we were in can actually open up into another room which is like its mirror image to hold up to 1,000 people. You should check them out. I think if you have over 400 people they might let you get both rooms together which just looks amazing.

We looked at the West Lake Inn, and would have gone with it, but there was no way we could have filled the room. It was just redone though, and the banquet manager was really very nice.

I know that Russo's on The Bay can old that many people. Floral Terrace I know can hold a lot....I just don't remember if they said 350 or 400
