Larkfield Brides..Hotel block?

Which hotel did you use to block rooms? Everyone keeps telling me I should do it now b/c Im getting married on a holiday weekend.

Hey There!!
I'm having the same problem right now!! I'm actually going to the Smithtown Sheridan tonight to see if I can get some info. If you call Larkfield, they will give you a list of approved hotels. I went to Hampton Inn in Commack this weekend...we were driving past and I figured I'd stop, but then I realized that Larkfield said they don't recommend them because at one of their weddings the shuttle dropped the guests off at the wrong hall!!! Needless to say, when I spoke with them, they no longer do shuttles!! But besides Sheridan, I'm going to try Huntington Hilton (I live in Huntington so my guests would be close to me) and I'm also going to try Wyndham (I think that's the name)...anyway, if you call Larkfield they can give you a list.

I'm really mad that there aren't any nice hotels that are close to Larkfield...the ONLY downfall to choosing them...besides that, I LOVE them!! They have been great so far!! Good Luck!!

Thank so much. Im glad you mentioned the hampton inn in commack b/c I was going to look there first. I could have swore when they gave me their recommended vendor list they were on there
I didnt even think of the sheridan in smithtown so please let me know how that goes. I work right up the street from the Huntington HIlton so I could probably stop in on lunch or after work there. I am really annoyed about the hotel selection in the area but it worth it b/c I love them too! also where is the Wyndham? Good luck and let me know how its turns out.

We called the Sheridan the other day and they gave us a quote of $149 a night.... They are a full service hotel also which is really good but the only downside is they told us they do not provide shuttle service at all....Let me know if you hear something different because we would really like to choose a hotel that offers the shuttle!

i booked with the Holiday Inn Express in Happague.... its $119/ room without the shuttle and $139/room with the shuttle.... I chose with the shuttle so OOTers can easily get to and from the reception..... They will make the arrangements for you for th shuttle a month or so before the wedding.... I would book now just to be on the safe side.... if you call them ask for Yattie... if she doesnt answer def leave a message and she'll get back to you ASAP... She was great to work with and answered all my questions...

My sister got married at Larkfield in 07. It was great! Anyway...she used the Sheridan in Hauppauge on Motor Parkway. The hotel provided us with a shuttle and they kept the bar open for us late to party after the wedding. The hotel is beautiful, and I am still talking about their special comfy beds!!
