Hi Kissy and Welcome !!! I went to a wedding there last September. The food was very good and delicious. And at the reception hour, they even offered seconds. Service was good too. I guess it depends in what you are looking for. I visited them because good food is important to me. I think in my opinion is one of the things people remember the most. And to me, it is the worst, as you get prepared to be served and the food taste horribly. At this place you dont have to worry about that. If you want, I can send you FM for the prices I got quoted. We didn't book the place because I was not too crazy about the layout of the dance floor in the big room and where we were going to sit. (I can be picky). When I met with Frank, I found him to be a warm, nice person but after I saw the place and tasted the food where I'm getting married, I knew I found the place. You will know too. I created it a thread named 'have you been to a wedding at?', I will try to bump it for you. I also went to a wedding to the Watermill and the review is there. Which month you are considering? Good luck and FM if you want the info.

Re: Larkfield Manor
Welcome to LIW....I am having my reception there, so you know what I think.
I love the place when I walked in...It has a romantic elegance without being too stuffy. I like the fact that they only do two weddings at one time (one large and small). For my date, no one booked the smaller room so we have the whole place to ourselves.
We went for our tasting in March and the food was AMAZING. My dad who usually only likes my mom's cooking really enjoyed the food. The BM, Frank, said if we didn't like the food he would give us back the deposit we made in Nov. I am glad we didn't have to take him up on that.
I on the other hand felt that they offered a lot. Upon entrance guests are greeted with glasses of Champagne. Cocktail hour with 8 chafing dishes, 10 passed hors d'oueves (sp??), Cold displays, cheese, fruit, etc... Champagne toast at beginning of reception, appetizer and salad course, 6 entree choices (7 if you count vetetarian) and guests are offered a second meal, red and white wine on all the tables, codials/tea/coffee. Ice sculpture is also included.
FM me if have any questions.

Welcome to the boards! I am having my reception at the Watermill. We went to Larkfield Manor and were not impressed. Frank actually rubbed me the wrong way. I thought he seemed a little like a con artist, but that's JMO

Re: Larkfield Manor
I went there and I liked it alot. Actually it was my second choice. I thought they offered alot for the price, especially as far at the food. Their cocktail hour is 1 1/2 hours as opposed to everyone else who is only one hour.
I never made it to the Watermill though it was on my list. I booked SC before I made it there!

Re: Larkfield Manor
I booked the Larkfield Maonor so you know my opinion too. I have had such a pleasant experience with Frank so I guess its Just everyones own opinion. They do offer alot 6 dinner choices and wine on every table etc, etc . Alot of stuff other places made you pay extra for. But then again its just my opinion. Never been to the WaterMill but even if I been and didnt like it I wouldnt put it down (JMO) GOOD Luck with your choice and welcome to the boards.

Re: Larkfield Manor
Hi! I'm getting married at The Larkfield Manor also. I thought that Frank WAS a little pushy but ya know what? He's a salesman. So I loved the food and I wanted something not too gordi. (sorry can't spell) We went with the smaller room, we were supposed to have about 135 people but our list got smaller. So it's all up to you really. Whatever you decide to pick I'm sure it will be perfect!
