hey ladies! i am new to posting but I have been on LIW for quite a while. I just got engaged over 4th of july weekend and FI and I went to look at our first hall tonight....larkfield manor! I dont have anything else to compare it to yet but from the quotes i have been reading...it seems that the bm offered us an excellent price for a saturday in august! They also offer 6 entree choices which is impressive. I thought Frank was really down to earth and realistic with us...he wasn't pushy or salesmanish which is what we expected...I thought the room was beautiful and i like that there would be enough seating at the CH.....(no seat at the CH is my biggest pet peave) In any case our first day of shopping was pretty good. We are looking at the Watermill on thurs, Port Jeff CC on sat and Flowerfields ( way out of our price range but i want to see it anyway )on sunday....

I went to a wedding there last year and loved it!! It was probably one of my favorite weddings. I love the ballroom! It is so elegant and the food was great! And the cocktail hour was great because there was seating inside and out. We went to a summer wedding there. I really loved everything about it. Good Luck

If you are looking for the same price range & seating for cocktail hour, try Sandcastle & Floral Terrace...They both give you choices of 6 entrees & they have enough seating....Prices are just the same range...FH & I looked at Larkfield also but aren't booking there

My MOH got married there last year and we LOVED it! Its a really nice place and my DH still says it was some of the best wedding food ever! They do a great vienesse hour presentation as well if you choose that!
